Subject Librarian.

SERVICE

Subject Librarians establish direct communication with respective academic departments, and are responsible for the trial and evaluation of digital resources relevant to their disciplines. They provide guidance and training for faculty and students within these departments on the use of library resources and services. Additionally, they gather feedback and requirements from faculty and students regarding the library's resource development and service offerings, and even provide decision-making support for teaching and research purposes.

In addition to establishing a Subject Services Department at the Jiulonghu Campus specifically for subject services, the library has also set up dedicated subject service positions at the Sipailou Branch and the Dingjiaqiao Branch. Each branch is equipped with specialized subject librarians who provide corresponding subject services.
